Blood On the Ice 2000: The Undercards

Brian "Big Mac Combo" McGrattan

Vs.

"The Orleans Oppressor" Eric Braff

THE SCORING:

The RinkRat Card is as follows based on a 10-point must system:

RinkRat - 10/10...Draw
Fight Dr.- 10/10...Draw
MGKO77-10/10...Draw

THE ANALYSIS:

MG-KO77: This tilt looked more like olympic wrestling as Eric Braff tangled with Brian McGrattan. Braff got a quick shot in, but it was McGrattan getting the takedown, this one ended in a draw.

RRM: Not much of a fight really. The above picture makes it look a lot better than it really was, but it was ok. Nothin' to write home (or here) about.Braff with the early shots but Big Mac with the great takedown.

8:06 UNDERCARD: John "Boy" Jarram vs. Brad "the Basher" Horan

THE SCORING:

The RinkRat Card is as follows based on a 10-point must system:

RinkRat - 10/8...Jarram (he cut Horan bad)
Fight Dr.- 10/8...Jarram
MGKO77-10/9...Jarram (MG was at the bar, but saw the blood)

THE ANALYSIS:

MG-KO77: Ice Dog John Jarram made quick work of sophmore Brad Horan. Horan was bloodied and had to be treated in his corner by trainer Bob Clarke.

RRM: Jarram didn't throw many in this scrap, two at most. But what he did throw was effective enough cutting Horan. Horan toast from the get go.'Nuff said.

FIGHT DR. FLY: Fronts Brad Horan's face ran into a John Jarram right hand...and though you never like to score a 10-8 round based on one punch, well, it was the only punch and was a dandy, leaving Horan's Red Cross donation on the ice (common folk translation: Jarram bloodied him up).
